MOOs, and their parent category, MUDs (Multi-User Dungeon - not Dimension) are a widely diverse and heavily populated group of communities existing on the internet, populated by people from all over the world.

I am, by no means, making any attempt to list all MOOs, current or otherwise. I'm simply listing those I'm familiar with, as well as some links and references.
